    Well this morning I was in line for gas and I was hunkering down my spot so that no one would take it. There are some mean inconsiderate people out there.

    I am sick of it. Can't the media come up with a better catchphrase than "hunker down"? Hunker Down sounds like the name of a Hillbilly singer.

    the really good thing to say should have been GTFO

    Hunker down is for rain storms, blizzards and your usual run of the mill freak events of nature. When a weather system is blowing winds at 110 mph and has the sheer strength to tear apart your house then the best advice is to GTFO!
