    I have a friend who is due in Harris County Court downtown for a DWI charge...does anybody know the status of that court, or what normally happens? He paid his bail in full. The problem (besides his irresponsibility) is that I paid a ticket for him to come visit us in New Zealand on the 24th. Does anybody know what's up with the downtown courts? Thanks.

    I thought there was a notice about Downtown Houston being closed, but not sure for how long. If I come across anything more, I will update in this thread.

    BMoney, your friend needs to call the court. Actually, he should probably have a lawyer if he's charged with DWI, and his lawyer should call the court.

    There's still no power in Stafford, not behind the fountains at least. Someone spoke to Center Point and said, it could take weeks. :(

    My neighbor in Pasadena (around Space Center and Fairmont) said we have power. I don't know how widespread it is, but they're making progress.

    My wife and I said "Screw it" and hightailed it to Austin this morning. We're hanging out here for 2 days, and I'm working from my hotel.
