Anyone here proficient in Car Audio? As I state in my other Car thread, I'm getting a new/old car. I'd like to at least change out the radio for a CD player, or do something to get a CD player in there . . . I'd also like to add new speakers, and maybe an amp . . . I know plenty about home audio, but ZERO about car audio . . . I'm a DIY, and I want to try doing this myself -- how difficult will it be?

Oh, and does anyone know of a car CD player that has a vintage look?

    Vengeance,

Try this site: The Install Doctor

They have some excellent resources, step-by-step documentation for many cars, and forums. They might not have your '77 Olds, but there's enough info there to get you started with your DIY install.
