Boykins is going to dominate over there. I'm not even joking.

he will become a star...and he will probably enjoy life much more...
Its great opportunity and I cant believe more NBA players havent taken this route before...But I guess its an acquired taste that comes along with having a world perspective(something most NBA players dont really have when they first come up thru the ranks)

Plus they'll be treated better than regular black folk that live there.
Not every European country gives a crap about equality and respect for all people like the USA or even England. Both are not perfect but it's not fun being a black person in Russia, Malta, Italy and others. You're usually treated slightly better if people know you-playing pro sports helps.

Sorry for going a lil off topic but good move by Earl. He's gotta get paid.

will probably keep on getting these nice contracts from Europe

and then one day maybe they'll sign a big name and start something....

This is amazing. He opts out of $3 million last year and nobody picks him up until the Bobcats give him the minimum salary for half a season. He then stinks it up and falls into $3.5 million tax-free in Italy.

    Just wow!

Merry Christmas in August for Earl Boykins.

I think thier is a cap on the amount of foreign born players you can sign.

Huge upgrade in salary for Boykins. He was making only $300,000 last season for the NBA. Height discrimination, folks.

This dude is 5-5, c'mon. It takes a lightning fast release to shoot over everyone in the NBA. Anyone can block him....

Boykins is not a terrible player.

It's actually A LOT of money in Italy, it looks like a PR move from Bologna.
I don't see Boykins getting similar money next year.
