Ask Sherman who is starting at QB and if Lane will get any time at RB.

Coach Sherman gave a lot of insight I can't recap the whole interview here but I will try to remember as much that we talked about.

Said it wasn't fair to just name McGee the starter because he hasn't run Sherman's offense so he opened it up for competition. I'd bank on Johnson being the starter though. Said he wouldn't rotate QBs on different series but seemed open to playing the hot hand so to speak.

Talked about returning to the college ranks and the tradition at A&M and how everyone has big expectations for them this year but he is trying to build up a program with his guys.

Talked about moving Lane to FB said he needed to flat out lose weight (made me laugh for his honesty) to play RB and that by putting Lane at FB along with Mike (Goodson) at RB will give them a great backfield.

Also got his take on the Brett Favre issue. He said its really sad that something like this has been going on but that in a couple of years no one will remember and all will be well.

I'll bump this thread up when we have the podcast online.
