Interestingly, Ron Paul did not vote.

I am displeased and angry with the democrats. I am horrified at the republican position.

Ron Paul voted against it, I would bet the farm on it.

EDIT: No vote, I guess I just lost that fictitious farm!

Don't go overboard. Many care. 128 cared enough to vote against this. I won't pretend that it doesn't upset me, though. It would be interesting to see who gets what for their campaign coffers from the telecoms. :(

    Impeach Bush.

I don't think it's overboard at all for Democrats to share the blame. Don't forget that this whole FISA mess came from Jimmy Carter. It's a little worse now, but the horrible parts of it (secret courts, ex post facto warrants) can be fully credited to Jimmy Carter and a Democratic Congress.

I didn't mean to imply that they shouldn't share the blame. Just to not paint with too broad a brush.

    Impeach Bush.

    Hey weslinder,

You can register your disgust here- http://www.actblue.com/page/fisa

Funds raised will go towards primary challenges against Democrats that supported FISA. Over $250,000 raised already. Hoyer will be #1 on the list.

You can justify your contribution by knowing that you're helping remove a Democrat from office. ;)

    From the same link...

I'm not sure what's going on here... Bush has politicized the IG offices, so nothing is coming from that under this administration... I do like his statement about immunity, but it remains to be seen if he'll put his heft behind it.

Other than my own county Republican Party, I rarely give to Parties or PACs beyond what is needed for participation in events. (Please don't tell the people I contact asking for money for Republican Liberty Caucus.) I'd much rather give to candidates. And while I prefer those who support real limited government, I'm not above giving to Democrats that make a stand for personal liberty. If Hoyer, Liebermann, or Dodd (new detestable credit card transaction reporting bill) have legitimate primary challengers, I'll donate to them.

A Democrat who will get a few bucks from me, regardless of whether he can win, because he's right and he's running against Lindsay Graham:

    Bob Conley
