First Annual Austin Rocketball Pickup Game

I'm definitely in... will you play often? March 2 I have to go to a wedding... FYI I'm in Austin, too.

And at what time? My apartment has some nice courts... I can only have two guests legally, but maybe if we play on a Saturday or Sunday morning (or evenings around 9pm are always empty, from my experience), things would be okay. The courts/rims are really good...

I'm making the roadie to play! I'm leaving Saturday afternoon to catch the Rockets-Suns game at this "Aussie's" place they talk about. Then I'll get a room and rest up for the Sunday basketball game.

 

Anyone up for a tuneup before the main event? I've been hitting the treadmill so I can actually play some (1- 2 minutes worth) defense, but need some three on three to refine my passing.

 

My left hand is still hurting from the last time I played, but assuming it is healed by then, I'm definitely in.

Man I wish I could be there. I have to see if I have anything coming up during that week, If not I might want to come. If their isnt anyone there thats close to my height and can lift weights.. I wont play but just watch.

Definitely in. I'm leaving around 4:30 or so to make it to Aussie's by tip-off Saturday night. I'll get a room, be rested, and be ready to kick some ass Sunday. I need to play semi-early Sunday, cuz I need to be on the road home by 3-4 in the afternoon.


I've been doing 20 minutes of treadmill EVERYDAY since we started this!

You may just want to walk straight to the hospital.

I'm pretty sure I can make it, unless my wife vetoes me.

I'd need good directions tho, since I've never been to Austin.

 

Just in case this thing happens to get pushed back to the weekend of March 22nd, I could make it from Philly! I'll actually be in Austin for this. (Yes, it's one of those liberal political fests, but that's not the point of this thread. )
