    The rebate is separate from your tax refund/payment. If you are single, I suspect you will get at least $300. Go to the Turbotax website and use their rebate calculator to see what you can expect.

    So if I did direct deposit for my tax refund this will be automatically done for the rebate check as well?

    I'm not getting a stimulus check, but I will feel the effects. My parents are using theirs to buy a floor that I get to help lay.

    I was thinking about getting a PS3 but gas prices are becoming so outrageous I might just stash it all away (completely undermining the purpose of the rebate).

    Thanks, you're right!!! Basically I'm not paying any extra taxes from what was withheld :mad: The idea that I'm gonna have to pay more taxes almost makes me want to vote republican..... almost.
