I'm a team fan but sometimes I can appear to be a player fan, because last season when the Lakers were struggling, all I wanted for them is to turn it around and win the championship, I just wanted them to win no matter who scored the most points. But now seeing what transpired afterwards, I'm very confident in this team's ability. I don't care too much about the regular season now, I rather see Kobe score a lot of points and the team lose than the team win and Kobe shoot a bad percentage.
Id rather see Stevie put up 20, 12, and 8 and the Rockets beat the Lakers 100-85 than Steve get 40, 5, and 8 and the Rockets fall 110-108. So...I'm more of a team fan. But of course...my favorite team isn't the Lakers.
It's hard to be a player fan once you've seen so many players come and go on your favorite team. Definitely a team fan.
A team fan myself, with favorite players that I would follow from team to team (though I only have one right now, Corey Maggette).
Neither actually. I'm a city fan. I LOVE HOUSTON! I certainly couldn't follow the Oilers to Tennessee...although I tried, it just wasn't the same. GO HOUSTON! RR
Well said, napster. Players come and go, get hurt, drop out, ask for trades. I root for the team. If we have superstar players, all the better.
