Had a flat tire last year on way to work. Called my manager & when he asked where I was at I told him "on Jackaranda". He thought i was maybe making stuff up to stay home.

Not weird and wacky really, used to live on a Humbug street.

I've never liked how Westheimer is spelled.

    My favorite street: Buffalo Speedway.

I don't know if it fits theme, but it drives me nuts and I have to share it now.

Versailles... there is a road and city here near Lexington Kentucky...

and apparently its supposed to be pronounced...

    Ver-sales

Louis the XIV is rolling over in his tomb.

Edit: I want to add this one too... Mackinac... pronounced Mack-e-naw? please can we figure out how to speak and spell? ;)

Near Harrisburg there are three successive streets called "Super," "Bob," and "Hagerman."

I don't know what he did to get three streets named after him, but Super Bob Hagerman must have been quite the fellow.
