It's why we wear the same lucky replica jersey when we're a thousand miles away from the game, or kick the girlfriend out of the room when the opponent goes on an 8-0 run. It's why we stomached Kelvin Cato, Maurice Taylor and the Mooch. Because maybe, just maybe, we knew, that for one shining moment, or in this case, six beautiful weeks, we as fans would get to share in a moment like this, being able to claim it as our own.

And it truly is our own. I would ask of every Rocket faithful, whether you've been on the bandwagon from #16, or Oct 14th, 1971, to drink in this momentous occasion. For one night, don't worry about what 12 year old idiot fans of other teams have to say about how the streak was a fluke, or it was lucky, or it doesn't mean anything. That's bullcrap. In the same way no one should ever have to defend their faith, no fan should ever have to defend the streak.

Fantastic streak. I am really disappointed that the Rockets Org. didn't acknowledge it at the end. What would it have taken to call the team to the court for a brief encore? I know they have a game tomorrow, but come on - 22 is worth celebrating for a moment.

I was hoping the crowd would of stayed the whole game and give the Rockets a standing ovation at the end but I think I just probably watched to much of those sport movies. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww

When I got back home, I will make myself a big cup of tea, read through them slowly, savour every moment and enjoy being a part of history. ("Yes, I am a Rockets fan and experienced the highs and lows - actually, only highs - with them on every win when they had the streak.")

The Streak was amazing! A loss was bound to happen. Even the Celtics got blown out at home by Jazz recently, so a good team is bound to have an off night. Rockets gotta show their toughness by bouncing back.

No matter what happens this postseason, I've never been prouder of the Rockets from top to bottom as I have during this unbelievable and improbable streak.

Watching this team over the past two months hustle, scrap, and fight for every point, rebound, steal, block has been a real pleasure to behold, reminding me of why I started following this team since the championship years.

In a league dominated by so-called superstars, there aren't many squads that truly exemplify the team concept. Bravo.

I can't wait to see what this team is capable of during the next 15 or so games and, hopefully, the playoffs. Go Rockets!!
