I only saw the last 3 min of the game and it was filled with tons of missed rebounding assignments by Nuggets players topped off with a ridiculously r****ded brick by Iverson in which he brought the ball downcourt, tried to drive along the right elbow but got stopped, and then criss-crossed to the left side of the court and attempted a fallaway tough angle 19 footer with the defender in his face and ~16 seconds still on the shotclock  - Game Over.

Early in his career he made some mistakes that have pretty much haunted him on his image "practice...we're talking about practice". I don't think anybody has really questioned his toughness on the court, just his off court issues.

It confused the hell out of me why we didn't go to JR at the end. He's insane, but he had the hot hand. We should have gone to him.

And I want to clarify, once again, I'm not blaming the officials for the loss. Not saying the entire game was poorly reffed, just questioning the third quarter if anyone saw it. I know Kelly saw it, as he suffered through the Marlowe-Hastings tag team.

I don't know if it was biased, but it seemed like the calls went against the Nugs. I was impressed by how the Nugs seemed to respond every time the Spurs would make a run. The bottom line is the game was even with a couple of minutes to go and the Nugs just didn't make any plays. What could have been an inspiring win became a very tough loss. The Spurs looked vulnerable and could have been had.

I didnt read every post, but did Rafer break his finger when we played them? I remember the play where Rafer swiped at the ball and got the steal, but he got a piece of Iverson too......
