The Week from Hell - 3/16 to 3/22

My thoughts exactly.

As Hakeem would say, "We're unbeatable!!".

 

man i have been thinking about that week for 2 weeks now. it is scary alright, especially if you add SAS on the 31st as well.

The week that really scares me i the last week though because we have the Jazz, Phoenix, and Nuggets and all can be fighting for a playoff spots.

 

The way we are playing now, nothing is out of the question. That first loss after this streak is the most painful but I'll be happy with a 21 game streak.

 

FIVE - ZERO
come on guys, the team has won 17 in a row... how often do you see that?? therefore, show some loveee!! kill them all rockets!

 

Lets get to 21 before we start thinking ahead. We have NO on Saturday, that's enough to worry about. If we get past them then we have a chance if we take care of business. Once we get to that week, lets see where we are at and how we are playing.

Why even ask this question?

WHere's that dude that predicted the winning streak at the end of the season the last time... what was his name? He was a Nostradamus himself. We should ask HIM.

 

none, and i repeat, none - of those 5 teams scare me. we could go 5-0 or 0-5, but these teams don't scare me.

in the entire league, only the spurs scares me to a certain degree as of now.

 

Take them one game at a time and a 5-0 sweep isn't out of the question. I don't think it'll happen, but you never know.

Fakers - A winnable game. They've been great lately, but like the Rockets, they've done it thanks to a mostly soft schedule.

Boston - No longer dominating the West like earlier in the season. Another tough, but winnable game.

New Orleans - Already won there recently. We know we can beat them.

Golden State - This one scares me, but they play zero defense and we can get away with going small against them.

Phoenix - We've already won in their arena this season, and they're a worse team now.

 

How about empiric, remember him? He predicted a 15 game losing streak, and we lost the next 15 games.

The key is to win those first two games at home. If we can do that, the team confidence can go into another realm. I'm thinking 35 in a row. after that, they'll probably lose one on purpose to break the streak so they can re-focus for the playoffs.

 

me too...i'm enjoying the ride now, but i've concerned about that week. i think we will be fine though. I BELIEVE!!!

 

I think at GS will the the hardest game to win. GS seems to beat all the top teams on their home court. Can you image the atmosphere at the TC 3/16 vs the Lakers if we have a 21 game winning streak . That game is supposed to be a night game on NBA TV. I'm sure ABC would love for a flex schedule and have that game moved up to be their Sunday afternoon game.
