The Rockets will improve this year under the new system and regardless of making the playoff or even winning a series, it is really a mute point. There is only 1 champion and without Yao, they don't have it to GO ALL THE WAy. That is life.

But imagine next season and it's the 2008 Draft and the Rockets number 1 pick is Yao Ming at 28, in his prime and ready to roll. Now that's adding a pieces to whatever is going on now. Also, with Morey's track record, I fully expect him to pick a unknown and he will be in the runing for ROY also.

P.S. Would love to see them win a series but you know what, as long as they try and if they fail and end up 9th, you never know, Maybe that bad karma will turn into a #1 pick. Now imagine the possibilities....
