Help with PS3

    Okay I just bought ps3 and would like to play madden 08 on it. However, i dont know if i am doing something wrong but the game seems extremely slow. Any tips on improving the speed? What if I store the game inside the system, will that help?

    From what I remember and have read, the EA sports game all run at 30 fps on the PS3 and 60 fps on the 360. So I think that is the problem, it just runs slow on the PS3.

    Indeed, Madden just runs a lot better on the 360.

    I assume they'll do a much better job with optimization next year.

    thats what i mainly got it for too. I would like to play games on it though since i don't have another gaming console.

    No, Madden 07 is worse.

    Really though, it'll be better next year. Plus, the EA Sports games seem to be mostly unique in their craptacular-ness on the PS3... of the EA sports games I have, Madden 08 and Fight Night Round 3 don't run so hot, while Fifa 08 runs fine.

    All the other 9 games I have run very well.

    EA games weren't made in 1080p resolution so if your PS3 is set to 1080p change it. That might be one of the reasons.
