V-Day Thread for Singles

You want to know how I'm spending my Valentine's evening? I'm going to be taking my ochem test. I win!

 

I'll be spending my V-day in Austin for training. The girl isn't very happy about it. I need to find something to do between 4 pm and midnight.

I can't even meet friends for a drink b/c they'll be with their dates.

 

What are you training for macalu?

 

I like Valentine's Day as much I do Christmas.....

So, I won't be doing anything special. Another reason to waste money.

Besides, if you really love someone every day is Valentine's Day.

 

work-related stuff. i'll be in conference from 1-4 and the rest of the day free, until Friday morning.

 

Disappointing. I thought you would be training for the kumite.

 

I'm going to the Lamar - UTA basketball game. I guess that means that I'm spending V-day with my true love.

 

I'm probably going to a strip club

 

V-Day is overrated.

I'll be having a dinner with my semi-ex/boyfriend.

 

Hit the gym. Then study for my MCAT and DAT. Then finish up my apps for medical and dental school. Who needs a girl?

 

a month ago I never would have thought I'd be single today. Yet I am. Love sucks and tomorrow will only remind me of that!

I will be spending the evening with two other single guy friends, one who also recently got dumped after a two year relationship. Can't wait.

 

I really hope my gf doesn't read this. I'd be broke in no time.

 

HA, I am too, but mine is no semi in it, just ex, since im working tomorrow, we're going to the game tonight and eat at Red/White Bistro, but paying for our own.

Tomorrow? work, and hearing all the pathetic stories from co-workers or people on the phones. I think I'll eat dinner alone somewhere near work, just to fit in.

 

unless you're in elementary school VDay shouldn't be acknowledged.

its ok, u get to meet really wierd ppl, my story was that i was a katrina victim selling stickers on ebay.

 

I tried it once and didn't like it. It felt too much like doing job interviews, ironically I actually got a job offer from one of the speed dates.

Anyway after the 6th speed date I got so sick of answering to "What do you do?" and "Where do you live?" that I started off the next date with "What do you think of Old Kingdom Egyption art?"

 

As for V-Day plans I will likely be working as I've been averaging 15 hour days the past month and I get an unsettling feeling V-Day will likely be the same. If I have the time I will likely be volunteering at a ski program that happens on Thurs night and then hitting the bars with other volunteers.

I recently got my heart ripped out so not much in the mood for celebrating.
