http://www.sendspace.com/file/mw9hhi For those of you that have NBA LIVE 08 on PSP. I'm sure you've known for a while that there is no current roster update for it, even when connecting online. I've made a roster update which has all the latest crazy trades in there. Shaq-Suns Marion- Miami Gasol-Lakers Stoudamire- Spurs Webber- Warriors Korver- Utah the roster is pretty much accurate since the Shaq trade. extract the zip file to your desktop or something and copy and paste the items to a folder that says something like ULUS102494000. You can find that folder by going to the PSP folder and then going to SAVEDATA. btw, the missing players are still missing.. so no scola or Jamario Moon.. etc.. oh and if you have a good crown progress in the game your progress is gonna go back down to like starter level rank 8. Enjoy
Nice job, buddy. But the fact that they left out some players make it unplayable for me. I dumped it an hour after checking it out. Hayes is missing too isn't he? Don't they still have that problem where the computer won't substitute, so their starters are in for a full 48 and exhausted near the end?
nope they fixed alot of the problems. Mine never had that substitution problem. Did the roster update work?
Man, I tried this game the other day and it is freakin' horrible. It's so odd because I played the Live before it (or possibly the year before that) on PSP and it was a hell of a lot of fun.
That right there is the game killer for me. I don't understand why they can't implement subs correctly. So when you play, the CPU subs for you? There is also a sub problem with the dynasty where every starter will play 40+ minutes while bench guys gets like 5 mins max.
yep, the cpu subs for me when im playing in game. In simulation mode my bench players are used pretty effectively as well.
Semi-off topic: Never played NBA Live before, but Madden has this same problem. Tried to implement a split-back system(50/50 split for carries), yet simulation will always have the RB 1st on the depth chart with a lot more carries. Well, that and the fact that whenever I try to sim with Vince Young, he always gets more running yards than my RB. Perhaps good subsitution patterns would make the simulation algorithm too complicated, and therefore too long, to perform.
Wow, I think you're the only one that doesn't have that problem. Everyone else has the substitution problem from friends to game reviewers like IGN,ect.
you think maybe cuz i got a late copy? i didn't exactly buy it when it came out. I got it like a week before x-mas. but honestly ive had every single nba live since 2001. the live series is becoming trash! nba 2k8 on PS3 is awesome. even NBA the life 08 is decent
