I am shocked to see that ranking. The guy knows more than we do so hopefully he seems something I don't.

If I had to give an honest power ranking for the Rockets, I don't think I could go any higher than 12th.

I see 8 teams ahead of them in the West as well as at least 3 in the East.

i honestly do NOT think any team in the east is better than the rockets. there are a few teams about the same level. but NONE better than the rockets in the east.

Putting the Rockets 6th, ahead of the Jazz, Warriors, Pistons and Spurs is a complete joke. Get real.

I disagree. It is funny. I laugh every time after a loss to see the idiocy spewed by some of these people.

Insane. Wow. As BigSherv said, I'd be happy with #6 in the West.

This list sounds crazy. But I interpret Power Rankings as who's been hot recently. As in a short term buy, not long term. Even then I have trouble putting us up that high. We've had a good record over the past 2 weeks, but it's been over mostly marginal teams in very close games.

It ranks San Antonio out of top 10, you know what this rank means.

Now with this and your earlier comment in the thread, do you believe sixth is accurate?

Where do you realistically think we should be ranked? I don't think we deserve sixth(SI), or 15th(ESPN). We are probably somewhere around the 11-12 range.

    Calling JeopardE.

Yeah, to see the kneejerk stuff after one loss to a quality opponent is funny. Add to that you are going without one of your big dogs and its hilarious.

I mean, how many times are tough, hard fought wins against quality opponents going to be marginalized by the next loss to an equal quality opponent. Or worse, how often will a tough, hard fought win against a quality opponent be marginalized by a close victory over a crappy team??

I would rank the team 11 or 12. But that would be like in a 6 or 7 way tie around 7th.

As of now, top 6 should be Celtics, Pistons, Suns, Hornets, Mavericks, and Spurs. After that you jumble in the Lakers, Nuggets, Warriors, Blazers, Rockets, Jazz, Cavs, Magic. In other words, a tier 2 team that wont likely compete for the number 1 spot in their conference.
