Looking to Buy a New Laptop...Any Deals Out There?

    Hey Guys,

    I'm looking to buy a new Laptop.

    Looking for 17" and Core 2 Duo with XP

    Saw a HP 9500T for around $800 after using a 25% coupon, but HP comps only come with Vista, not XP so thats a deal breaker for me.

    cann't you uninstall your current XP from you old laptop and use it on this new one?

    yes I could, but I'd really rather get a laptop that has XP because I'll basically have to redo everything if I have to reinstall XP and I don't want to go through that.

    It's going to be tough finding one with XP installed at a retail store. I couldn't even find one when I was looking in February.

    You're best bet may be to look for one online.

    HP is total crap. When people ask me to work on their laptops, 70% of the time they are HPs. Thanks, HP, for the extra $$$.

    Dell sells laptops with XP installed. Check out their website.

    Dell has a vostro on sale pretty cheap. Go to slickdeals.net forum and search for vostro.
