Dark spots visible on President Bush's cheek and temple, seen Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at a White House event marking the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, prompted spokesman Ari Fleischer to disclose that Bush had four lesions removed from his face last week, including two that are pre-cancerous but not a threat to the president's health.
