Either these problems are correctable or Simms still thinks that he's in high school and he can throw the ball through defenders, and that his sheer arm strength will beat DBs. Leaf is a real head case, I agree. But he's got all the tools of a prototype drop back passer, and still failed. Simms may end up to be the same way. The point I was making with Fiedler, Grbac, Garcia, and Matthews is that the QB's with the best arms and physical skills aren't always winners. There are many more factors to succeeding as a QB in the NFL. Here's some high round busts in the NFL: Andre Ware David Klingler Akili Smith Cade McNown Ryan Leaf Danny Wuerrfel All these guys suck or sucked in the NFL. As for the little guys, here's a few more: Aaron Brooks Scott Hasselbeck Brad Johnson Doug Flutie Charlie Batch Tom Brady Alex Van Pelt All of these guys are starting even though they have less than stellar "prototypical QB" qualties.
