My copy shipped from Red Octane, won't get it until Monday at the earliest.

I'm kind of upset that you can't play coop career mode online.

 

check Bestbuy.com. I think the Willowbrook location is the only BB in Houston that is doing a midnight launch. I plan on getting it at Circuit City after church Sunday morning. CC is supposed to have a free guitar stand with purchase.

but the only reason I'm getting it midnight is because I work Sundays, and wouldn't be able to make it in during their store hours tomorrow

 

I doubt BB will be having it in Waco ...but last year, I got GH2 at midnight at Walmart, so I'll check there.

 

Buy yourselves a guitar, and call me when you get a clue.

 

I already have a few guitars, main ones being a Gibson Les Paul Studio for electric and a Martin D-1 acoustic...have played since middle school, so that's almost 20 years

you don't think there are a lot of real guitar players out there who play Guitar Hero? if not, then you're the one who needs to get a clue, lol

I played Guitar Hero for the first time literally 15 minutes ago. I suck, but damn if it's not fun.

 

I only started playing either GH1 or GH2 a few months ago. It took me a while to get up to the skill level of beating songs on Hard setting. About a week ago, however, I decided that I desperately want to beat GH2 on Expert setting before GH3 hits stores. It's been a long, tedious week, and I almost met my goal. Unfortunately, I could only get as far as Hangar 18, and that song is kicking my ass so thoroughly I am questioning whether or not I might EVER be able to beat it.

But GH3 looks fun. From video clips I have seen, I'm thinking Expert setting on that game might be out of my league for ANY song. They went a little crazy with the 3 note chords in that game...and those are a weakness of mine.

 

aint no shame in that Raven, that songs burns.

Im not terribly good at GH (I dont even try expert), but from what I know about it and about Hangar 18, I dont even want to imagine that.
