Is Rudy for some reason limiting Eddie's minutes? Now is not the time to be doing this. We need him to become as much of a force as possible THIS year, especially with Steve and Cat out. I like Rudy, but I really can't understand his substitution patterns. It seems like the staff plans out the substitutions three days beforehand. I mean, the unit that started today did not look good to me at all. The squad w/ Tierre and Eddie played really well and brought us back in it. Each time the starting unit came out, the Spurs lead got bigger. Sorry to blather on but I was so frustrated by this game! AAAAAAHHHHH! :(

Yep. What the f@#k was that? Our firstunit sucked, in the first quarter and to a lesser extent the third. I'm sorry but Rudy blew it. The substitution pattern was drunk and foolish.

My big beef is the misuse of Griffin. Griffin was a terror in the first half, rebounds, blocks, and intimidations. You wait till fourth quarter to put him back in, and then put him in the beloved high pick and roll. He's a good shooter but he is not a 3 point specialist for god damn sakes! You set him up with 2 threes and take him out cause he can't fit your mold of what a big man should be. You take out his defense and rebounds and hands near the basket because he misses two 3's which he shouldnt have in the first place. I'm sorry but even when we do start winning and Steve and Mobes are back, I still say Rudy is holding certain players down. And formy last line, I'm going to rant. God damn f@#k Rudy f#@#kin T piece of #@#!!!

In my posts since the first of the season, I have been pleading for Griffin to get more minutes. This may come as a shock to all of us on BBS, Rudy obviously does not check our posts! He should, because I see a chance for improvement, it was obvious in tonights game. The less we saw Rice and the Cato, the better things became. Now if we get the little dribbler off the court (M.Norris) and see more of Torres, T. Brown, and GRIFFIN.

I think a lot of people wonder why Rudy made the substitutions he did. You would think he would reward guys like griffin with more playing time when they do well, but he sat him for almost the whole second half. Did it even occur to him that the reason for our run in the 2nd quarter was because of the defense of Griffin? Is Rudy drunk or just oblivious to the events on the court?

I'm still scratching my head as to why Rudy started the "starters" in the 2nd half after the "bench" had done so many damages in the 2nd quarter ...

Does Rudy suck? Or is it me?

I know what you mean. It seems like Rudy puts the same lineup in and maeks the subs at the exact same time every single game nomatter whetehr we are losing or winning. Shouldn't he make subs according to whats going on out on the floor instead of going by how many minutes he decides to give the players before the game. Eddie was playing great defense. Why didn't he start Eddie for the second half? He could have put Griffin at SF, Thomas at PF, Cato at C, torres at SG, and tierre brown at PG (i like his defense) that is an all out defensive lineup. It seems like most of the time even our defensive players dont play defense though. Whats up with our team? The playoffs are dwindling away right before our eyes!

I was at the game and I sure as hell was confused as hell. Griffin grabs about 6-7 boards in the second quarter and blocks two shots but still does not get to play the entire third quarter.

I think Rudy is making the mistake of trying to turn Griffin into Matt Bullard. Last year we ran the high pick and roll pretty well with Bull. But thats becaue Bullard is lites out from three point land. Griffin is not that good of a three point shooter.

Also, Antonio Daniels was on Griffin in the second quarter and Griff did not get to post up once!  We kept on trying to post up Willis (which is about the worst thing we can do) or iso for Walt.

Rudy sucks! I mean jesh f**king christ, why get rid of Hakeem if were going to run this slow poke offense up the court. This team wins game being aggresive, and pushing other teams into a track meet down the court. I was thinking, okay, let Dream go so we can turn into this athletic thoroughbred team that has our opponets on oxygen tanks around the 3rd quarter.
Another thing Rudy sucks at, substituitions! Commit a stupid play, you stay in the game, hit a shot your yanked out.

Is next years draft lottery protected???
