    First the coach chokes by replacing the keeper then it all unraveled.

    I can't watch. They replaced Hope Solo? What idiots. Not only was she good, she looks good, and she has one of the greatest names in the history of sports.

    Why make a panic move like replacing your keeper? It takes the focus off the team ...just a dumb move when you are riding a 51 game unbeaten streak.

    Brazil had more skill the USA seemed to rely on set pieces, no on the ball skill, and no speed.

    They need a quick strike artist like Mia Hamm to come up and energize the team.

    Marta was fun to watch...

    To me it is. Basketball relies much more on athleticism and size than soccer does so watching less athletic people play isn't as much of a drop off in quality. There is a drop in quality but it's not as drastic as in basketball.

    It also depends on your opinion of the two sports to begin with.

    Pretty much, the women's game features some very good passing and shooting, though without the strength of the men's game. The World Cup is getting a bunch of publicity for a reason - it's definitely fun to watch
