A computer oddity

OK, I got my laptop back up and running. But my laptop was doing this before. And my desktop never did this.

My laptop is not remembering threads in here that I've already read. If I leave and come back later it will, but not while I'm on the site.

Any ideas?

Maybe you have your cookies set to expire every time you close your Internet Explorer or Firefox, etc.. Set them to expire when you decide you want to delete them.

Edit: Go to Options, then Privacy- if you are using Firefox

I think it is something else. It also will highlight entire texts when I'm try to cut and paste and not allow me to go back to the original format.

Let's face it. My computer is as dumb as I can be.
