They have a pretty good preview here. I'm not sure how close they will be sticking to original comics. But we all know Flash is the man. http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/
It was good as cartoons go. As far as relating to the comics, I'm a marvel man with a few exceptions. I've read some batman and he seemes close enough. Superman was good. I didn't like the Flash..is he suppose to be that much of a dork? No aquaman.
Isn't his only super power is that he can run real fast?? How can he be the man if that is all he can do? It's not like he's the Green Lantern and has a cool power ring that he uses to do all kinds of things.
MR, He can vibrate indredibly fast to generate heat. The Flash could easily take the ring from GL before he could blink. The flash also generates a deadly amount of momontum. His powers may be uninteresting but damn they're useful.
Well, then is he invincible?? What's his weakness. Superman has kryptonite, Wonder Woman has not having her magic lasso, Batman has not having his utility belt, etc. How would you be able to defeat him?
Anybody remember that show Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist? They had this great bit on Wonder Woman and the lasso of truth. She'd catch some guy and he start babbleing crap like "Damn, Wonder Woman, you've got some bit t***!" etc. I thought that was pretty funny. BTW, I think that the Flash would have lots of problems with spontanious combustion from extreeme friction. I think he'd end up bursting into flames quite a bit. I think the way you defeat the Flash is get him and bind him when he's not looking for it. Titanium leg cuffs, and he's not going anywhere, unless the Flash can do handstands, which would actualy be pretty intresting...
Don't be dissin' the Flash. I think he's much less of a dork than Green Lantern. The new JL heroes are interesting. Who's this Martain guy and this Hawk woman?
This is the orginal group. Aqua man wasn't part of it. I think he meets superman later on, becomes a superhero because of the meeting, and then joins. Flash was the first chairman in the comics. Supposedly Superman and Batman were more like icons for the group and didn't do much work. I don't know much about the Martian guy, but he was there in the beginning. I'll be interested to see what his powers are.
If you like the Superfriends, errr I mean Justice League, check out this website http://www.seanbaby.com/super.htm. This guy does hillarious rip jobs (especially on Aquaman and some of the more "ethnic" Superfriends). When I discovered this site last year, I was laughing so hard that I had to skip class.
Your link has an extra period at the end. This is what it should be. http://www.seanbaby.com/super.htm Also, anybody ever seen the ad with the Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Legion Of Doom, and The Powerpuff Girls, where Wonder Woman says, "You girls sure are develoing into fine superheroes.", and Blossom says, "And one day be as developed as you!"? An awkward silence follows and after a few seconds Wonder Woman kind of folds her arms over her chest. I crack up every time I see it. Almost as good is the one where Solomon Grundy says, "I just want some decent pants!"
Yes!! That's the best commercial on the Cartoon Network. I like it how Lex Luthor and the rest of the Legion of Doom start laughing even though they are all in a great big pile on the floor. Also, great reference from Airplane, Otto, in the "How Do We Motivate Cato" thread in the Rockets forum. Reading that reminded me of this classic line: Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious. Dr. Rumack: I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.
