    On a side note, isn't this how planet of the apes started. Putting Monkey dna into outerspace sounds like some kind of mistake.

    Who the hell thinks of this kind of stuff? "Hmm, let's honor the first chimp in space by taking a hair sample of a descendent and send into space." WTF?

    i hope they are using the dna studies of these chimps for something more useful than a symbolic tribute. the amount of man hours and cost for those tests are pretty high and to waste it on this just shows me how screwed up some peoples priorites are...
