    Seriously, though, until mainstream and major networks invest money on putting great games on, it will never catch on.

    and besides the fact that the MLS is pretty much below the minor leagues when it comes to overall talent, I doubt the Alpha-Americans would watch what is perceived to be 2nd/3rd rate soccer

    In a scale of 1-10, adding David Beckham to the MLS makes most of us Mexicans appreciate "american football" just a tad more... it goes from a 7 to an 8... and that's about it... we will watch, but that's about it...

    First goal
    First YELLOW CARD :D

    As a sidenote, his free kick was scored thanks to a silly wrong guess by an inexperienced goalie not knowing the capability of the famous left foot. Still, he is a beauty to watch no matter who the goalie is.
