I used to drink Schlitz and went through an ill advised Budweiser phase. I was a loyal Shiner Bock drinker for many years then decided that my father was right and chose Miller Lite for its smoothness and lack of calories. Now I sit here listening to Battles "Mirrored" CD and am wondering in my buzzed out brain what you folks are into musically.

I can drink Shiner but the rest of those beers are just horrible. I'd rather not drink than to drink that crap.

So that compels me to ask: What do you drink and what bands do you listen to?

    Beer: Dos Equis Amber
Music: Stevie Wonder, matchbox twenty, White Stripes, Weezer, Craig David, Elvis is what I'm listening to right now.

The music rotates, but I think the beer will always be the same. It's a travesty that more people don't drink XX Amber.

Lately I've been on a Blue Moon kick but my in-laws just brought over a bunch of Swedish beers and I must say they aren't too shabby.

I've almost given up on music lately. The radio is painful to listen too.

A good Schlitz playlist would be:

    Ohio Players
    Zappa
    Tiny Tim
    The Frogs
    Zapp & Roger
    Frehley's Comet
    Jerry Reed

I'm not picky in what I drink.

Music: Just about every genre you could think of with the exception of today’s Country and Rap.

I watched the movie Zodiac last night and the song during the end credits was so badass I had to look it up. I find out that it's Donovan, the same dude that wrote the equally impressive but in a totally different way song "Catch the Wind." The name of the song is Hurdy Gurdy Man.

David Fincher has a knack for picking the perfect song to close a movie. Just like Where is My Mind at the end of Fight Club. Incidentally, I thought the movie was one of the best so far of 2007.

So yeah, that's what I'm listening to.

I've been humming "Ball and Biscuit" by The White Stripes for about three days straight. What a tune.

Also, last night I drank a Yards "Saison" Belgian-style ale and listened to The Apples in Stereo, which was interesting.
