    Didn't our 2000 #1 draft pick go to Vancouver in the Francis deal? Are there any conditions on that pick? The Clutch Report of 8/27/99 says that our pick goes to the Grizz. Say it ain't so!

    grummett -- I was wrong on that in that report. That's what was being reported at the time but it wasn't accurate. We had a scare a while back but the official word (I think) is a first round pick over the next few years... not sure if it has to be ours or what stipulation is on that.

    Thanks. I just had the same scare. I read on another site that unless we get one of the first three picks, we lose it to Vancouver. That's when I checked your archives.
