Swapping with NJ for a resigned Carter would be one idea (VC would be unlikely to agree) or chasing a package with Boston were they to end up with the #3 pick (say, #3, Jefferson, Green, Ratliff).

There's no trade until Garnett demands one. He's loyal to a fault.

exactly. but at some point i can see mchale saying, "kg, what do you think of going here?" i mean he's GOT to at some point.

yao gives the twolves a legit chance at starting over. and yao bring the ability to sell tickets with him. not to mention the tv contracts, chinese endorsements, etc...

we could get KG and them some. we could really get a deeper and more talented team out of this kind of deal. i love yao, but i want to win. ya it's a gamble on trading yao now. we could possibly regret it. but it's a gamble i would be willing to take for the right deal...
