I've lived in Texas for 7 years and I really don't prefer Blue Bell. I went to their little factory and blew chunks. All I ate was a sample in a little cup and it all came up. BBell is okay, but I definitely like BBunny the most. I think it was made in Iowa (I'm not sure). Has anyone tried Breyers Vienetta...MMMMMM.... Blue Bunny rules!!
I live up in NC and there is a somewhat local brand here called Mayola. I work at a coffee shop during the summer which has an ice cream shop as a side shop which I sometimes work at. I dont eat ice cream (except sherbert) and they sell Caramel Carabou and sometimes Candy Bar w/ Snickers which is also just called Snickers so I assume that is the same as Snickers Bar. They are both vanilla based ice creams with caramel and choclote chunks in them and I can never tell the difference.
