    if sf3 comes back, he is then totally useless.

    Exactly... he has no prayer in matching up with the other wings of elite teams.

    Steve Kerr was still a decent ball-handler, and had decent court vision. He also had a high basketball IQ. The Bulls had no problem playing him at PG, even if Jordan or Pippen brought the ball up 80% of the time.

    And on top of it all, Kerr will always be a MUCH better shooter than Luther ever will.
