Just heard this on CNN... Apparently a soap-bar size of C-4 plastic explosives was found at a Greyhound Station in Pennsylvania. Authorities said that it could have taken out the terminal.

I really would like to know how much of this is Al-Queda and how much can be attributed to the wackos coming out of the woodworks.

Very frightening. The government is really going to have to develop an efficient, powerful defense against these people.

At least disaster was averted this time. Maybe I'll choose to live in a small city after college after all :).

No detonator...had been there about two weeks.

Police Commissioner John Timoney said the Samsonite suitcase was placed in a public locker at the station at 2:43 a.m. on Sept. 29.

It was removed from the locker by an employee on Oct. 3 and put in a storage closet.

The discovery of the suspicious substance occurred this morning as Greyhound workers were going through routine searching of suitcases that had been left unclaimed for about two weeks to see whether there was clothing inside that could be given to the needy.

    No terrorist scare here... http://inq.philly.com/content/inquirer/2001/10/19/local_news/19GREYHOUND.htm
