    is there anything more annoying than the current usage of "said" as an adjective? for an example:
    i have big hairy balls, and if you like, you can lick said balls.

    I can probably think of a lot of things more annoying if I was put to it. I personally don't have a problem with that usage of "said."

    It's a word that people use to try to sound well-read and intelligent. Because lawyers use it regularly and are considered professional, others try to emulate it. Whenever I hear it, I feel like the speaker is trying to impress me. That leads me to believe the speaker has insecurity issues and a possible inferiority complex.

    Two big offenders around here are RM95 and andymoon.
