I know TNT has a HD channel but will they only offer a few select games in HD? Will TNT and ESPN split the Conferences?

Please educate me as I am trying to setup my optimum service provider now.

what kind of TV do you have?
    are you in Houston?

my friend in Htown complains about it too. but on my TV in austin, everything is silky. must be the compression rate for TNT HD or something in htown.

i live in houston also, tnt hd is by far the worst of them all. still looks way way better than a regular broadcast but even fsn hd is superior.

I have an HD TV but never had any HD on it.

My friends do though, are you guys refering to the weird way TNT stretchs the picture out for non HD broadcasts? They don't apply the stretch evenly they stretch the sides out way more.

Will the rockets games be on TNT only? I'm in Houston. I have Digi Cable right now but want HD so I might switch to Dish network.

I never had a problem with the look of NBA games on TNT HD. Granted, ESPN HD does look better, but I've seen worse HD basketball broadcasts than the ones on TNT.

    it's called StrechOVision, hehe

TNT has a serious problem with HD, first sync problems and then poor feed

    ESPNHD2 and ESPNHD look great
