Is it possible to get playoff tickets at a sane price (below $200) if you don't have season tickets or any of those mini-packages? I don't live in Houston, but would love to possibly buy a 1 game ticket if I can...

I don't know when they go on sale to the public, but when they do, I am sure they will sell out pretty fast. Either way, I don't think it would cost too much to get a ticket on eBay or off of someone on the boards. Especially for the first round. After that, I am sure second hand tickets will be a lot mor expensive, but I would guess you could prolly get one for double face value in the first round. I dont know, I am totally guessing

As long as you buy them right when they go on sale, I've never had trouble getting tickets to the 1st round games.

from past experience, once they sold them to the public by single tickets, I was amazed that it took more than a week before they are sold out. Hell, I was able to buy a few extras after I bought my package for the playoffs and sell them on Ebay. Its no my fault that people don't want to buy them right away, so I might as well make a few extra bucks rather than those b*stard scalpers outside of every game that take corporate tickets from people that are not using them FOR FREE then turnaround and sell them.

In 2005, my game 5 tickets (top row, right behind the goal) were $40 a piece on EBay. While no one would call that cheap for the seats, I've had to pay more for SRO Astros' Playoff tickets.

$60 will probably not get you in the lower level...upper level....if its game 7 or something, then it will be higher

I think you might be right. I went to one of the games in the Mavs series, and sat lower level somewhere in the corner for about $55.

my son & I have season tickets sec 116 row 17 seats 3 & 4 the wedge behind the Rockets bench. My son moved to NYC 2 weeks ago.

we pay about $58 per for the season, my understanding is the playoffs will be about $68 -70 1st round. My understanding is when the public buys they will pay more for these seats if avail.

I will go to game 1 but have 1 ticket avail.

will sell game 2 for $70 per ticket, $140 total as long as that is the correct price and the Rockets aren't pulling my leg.

will probably sell games 3 & 4 if they happen for $75 and $80 each.

round two I understand is supposed to be about $80-85 per.

I also understand I can buy lower priced tickets sooner than everyone else and at a slight discount.

i went to games 3 and 4 against the mavericks 2 years ago. i got upper deck seats for only $15. you just need to buy them the day they come out. as long as you do that, it shouldn't be hard to get tickets.
