BAGGAGE CAROUSELS SHUT DOWN AT MINNEAPOLIS/ST PAUL AIRPORT AFTER LEAK CAUSES BLISTERS
    Tue Oct 02 2001 12:42:22 ET

A United Airlines baggage handler at Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport developed blisters Tuesday morning after coming in
contact with an unknown fluid leaked from a suitcase, according to reports.

The leaking fluid was not immediately identified.

The worker came in contact with the fluid around 9:30 a.m. She was treated at the scene by airport firefighters, then taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

A hazardous materials team was called in to deal with the leak.

Most baggage carousels at the airport were shut down.

According to Metropolitan Airports Commission spokeswoman Amy von Walter the incident did not appear to be related to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

...and in other news, a rabbit was caught pissing in a bush. This incident too did not appear to be related to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Liquid Plumber could probably cause blisters.

Actually anything could cause blisters if that worker was allergic.
