I think someone mentioned that Rice's foot was 70% and he may not be practicing. If persay, he is not ready on opening night, who do you perceive to be the Rockets starting sF>?
I'd have to agree, simply because no one else is ready to start, although if Rice is ready opening night, exactly where do you see Walt in the SF depth chart? Personally, I'd bench Walt in favor of giving Langhi and Morris the minutes. I wonder how the minutes at SF will be doled out this year. I really hope the young guys get consistent time on the floor.
I agree with NJ Rocket and Relativist,we will have to start with Walt and I think the chances of him getting traded is very slim.
I think Rice will be okay. He said that he would try out two a days for a while to see if he could handle them. He may or may not do only one practice a day after that. He also said he's not quite ready to do really hard cuts on his hurt foot yet. This is all coming from the media day videos at the nba.com rockets site. You guys really should check them out.
