NY Doctors utilize a ROBOT to treat woman in France!!!!!!!

    WTF?!?!!?

    Doctors in NY used a robot in france via some form of telecommunications to treat a woman for some sort of gallbladder problem!!!!!

    What, are all doctors in France sorry as hell or something?!?!?!?! If it has something to do with the gallbladder for crying out loud. Not the heart or a brain. I am sure doctors in France are perfectly capable of handling a trick gallbladder! And why the hell did the woman agree for this robotic procedure. If I needed a surgery I sure as hell aint letting a doctor operate on me via a doctor from another country!

    This whole thing is weird and funny as hell! :D

    It may not be as crazy as it sounds. I have a friend who works on a luxury motor yacht based in Cannes/Antibes, and the owner is a mega wealthy American (who my friend is sworn not to reveal).

    Anyway, when the yacht was built, they installed some super high tech medical/operating room so the owners doctor could "treat" the owner and his family remotely.

    I didn't really beleive it at the time, but this is interesting....

    I've seen it on TLC I think. Where the Doctor was using a virtual glove and a monitor to operate on a patient in another country. The robot did all the work.

    Sure, it's all well and good now. But elementary chaos theory proves that all robots will eventually go crazy and turn against their masters.

    Well all of this might be cool and helpful to stranded people in the middle of the ocean, in space, etc. I did not mean to make fun of this technology, but WHY THE HELL DID A WOMAN IN FRANCE NEED THIS??????
