hi need some advices i'm 4th on 12 in the ranking so far in my fantasy league (yahoo) but i'm strugglin in the block category because of Yao's injury ... i got many players who can play PG (roy/boykins/felton/ford/nelson) ... i'm willing to trade for Kirilenko, hoping he will improve his numbers ... the guy who own AK47 wants Ford ... i dont know what to do lol ... heeeeeeeeelp ... besides the players i mentioned earlier in this post, i own wilkins, swift, szczerbiak, harrington, garnett, korver, mason, carroll (roto, with PTS FG% FT% 3PTM RBDS ASTS BLKS STLS Ast/TOs )
ford for kirilenko is a good trade. you get more blks, stls, and rebs and less to's. I would do it in a second considering the rest of your lineup.
I would do it too....Ford for AK47? No brainer. But if your really looking for blocks why not pick up a guy or two who just specialize in that but don't get the offensive touches per game(thus no TOs). Mourning comes to mind in the short term. Even off the bench he averages over 1 a game. Andrew Bynum also is bringing the blocks and he occasionally puts up decent rebounding/scoring games. He won't give you consistency in much more than blocks, but if that's all you need than go for it. There are normally sleepers available in the less obvious catagories in every league - everyone goes for points & rebounds, but there are plenty of role players in the league that can bring you decent number in blocks, steals, FT%, etc. if you miss out on the marquee players.
all the blocks specialists are already owned ... the "best" of the FA includes pryzbilla, perkins, diop ... dont want to waste games with those guys lol thanks
I traded Adam Morrison for Andrei Kirilenko? Was that good or stupid? I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Fantasy Basketball is a lot harder to understand than fantasy football.
Great trade if it was straight up in a head to head league. While AK47 is an injury risk and he's having a disappointing year, he still has the chance to outperform later in the season. You have an instant steal if his numbers pick up by 25%. I'm not too big on Morrison besides his scoring. Plus, his numbers are suspect because of the injuries the Bobcats are going through. You've probably traded him at his highest value.
