It's been 4 days, and the BBS love-fest has apparently ended. It was fun while it lasted.

BTW, I voted for Jeff. He's just too damn perfect. I think he's hiding something. I bet he sneaks Big Macs when no one's looking.

"too damn perfect." ??? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

Just ask my wife!!! :D I'm sure she'd be happy to enumerate my many imperfections. She just said over my shoulder, "If by perfect, you mean 'severely flawed' then, you are correct."

    :)

Since all my liberal friends are here (I still care about all you guys), I thought some of you might appreciate my liberal side as I wrote a poem:

    I WONDER WHAT IT'S LIKE...

    by: ROXRAN

I wonder what it's like to feel the pain. To know the end in burning light.

I've seen it rain and think its safe but churn and turn throughout the night.

I can't imagine a death like that. I can't see falling or being crushed like that. To choose your death is not in vain. It really hurts, this is true pain.

I know I'm good, I know I'm right and I declare it's truly time to fight.

I've heard all voices and believe in choices however realize the silence must be broken.

I raise my gun towards the sun, not sure if this is truly fun...should I shoot them now or let them run?

I let my feelings come back to me to wonder what it's like...Is it him or me?

I'm just trying to get life back to normal here. I think the worst thing this b*stard terrorist did was bring us together here at Clutch City. It's just not right.

As Jeff's wife for the past six years, I would most definitely have to vote for him. You can't even begin to imagine the evil that this man is capable of...

I had to go back and edit my earlier post. I am devastated that shanna is really a guy. I thought that maybe she, I mean, he was like the Fabulous Sports Babe. BTW - does anyone know if the FSB is good-looking or not. Please don't tell me that she's a guy, too!

BLECCHH!! I think I would have rather not seen that even though I asked for it. I would like to still think that the FSB is a babe, but I can't. Damn you, Outlaw! You are going to give me nightmares tonight with that picture!:D

My theory that Jeff cannot lose at anything looks pretty strong right now.

Jeff, remind me not to ever play cards with (well, against) you. Do you need a Spades partner? :D

RichRocket, I read with heavy heart your sad saga of being a liberal and an idealist who got beaten down by life.

Don't give up hope! Your not too old for a second go at it! Keep your chin up! Rocketman95 myself and others in thsis thread are available to support you.

I was going to vote for you because all men with long hair are going to hell. But I voted for Achebe instead because he seems like the type to enjoy having a pitchfork rammed... err... like I said, I voted for Achebe.

    Hey glynch,

Have you ever heard of Senator Scoop Jackson from Washington State? He once said:

"I know I'm a moderate because my liberal friends think I'm conservative and my conservative friends think I'm liberal."

Behad, you need to go to bed and not be an insomniac like me. Had too long of a nap.

Yep, I now rember it thanks to your recollection. That pretty well applied to Scoop Jackson's politics at that time. He was a conservative in many ways, (Vietnam War?) but a strong union man, if I remember. Now I'm afraid he would be considered quite liberal.

A similar one is the repsonse of the press when accused of being either conservative or liberal. However, in the case of the press I believe the ownership class is not liberal and they call the shots; not the reporters who more liberal.

I'm at work, so bed is not an option. And I could care less about Jackson's politics. I'm just trying to bait you. Any idea where I'm going with this?
