    This week Yao Ming has averaged 33pts/gm 12.6 rbs/gm 4blocks/gm.
    The question is will he still win player of the week, even though Rockets went 0-3?

    LOL ... Yetti, I love Yao as much as the next guy does, but no way Yao will and should win POW when the team he plays for lost 3 (not counting the Clipper game on Sunday, it could go either way and Yao could have another monster game) in a week.

    Get some sleep, my man. :)

    He won't even be nominated.

    Sad thing is we had a chance to win all 3, in which case he'd a be lock to win.

    but they do have EVERYTHING to do with wins and losses.

    If Roxs win all 3, which was a possibility, Ming is a lock for POTW

    Absolutely no way.
    If we won these three games and as Yao performed as a nonster, he will definitely named the POW.
    Whatever, POW has nothing to do with Rox, we need 50-55 wins to the playoffs.

    POW does not come from a team with a losing record during the week. Sadly, I think Kobe will get it this week.
