Glad to hear you are okay. Has anybody heard from SamFisher, McMark, New Yorker, Richirich et al? Hope all are well.

    Clearly.

I mean, he attacked the wrong country why not do some more stupid ****.

Either him or A-Rod are at fault.

Thanks for the thoughts, guys. Much appreciated. Me and the crew are fine. Other NYC area residents who post here should let us all know things are ok.

Scary when they announce that NORAD has unleashed the fighter planes!

    Bad memories, I tell you.

I work near Bryant Park (40th St and 5th Ave) and things are fine this side of town. Pretty crazy stuff though; I would hope this is an accident.

I don't think A-Rod meant to kill his own teammate.

    Nobody asked about me? ;)

Everything should be fine. It was a small private jet flew by a Yankee's pitcher. What really scared me was, it was just beside the medical college/hospital my wife works in. Then I realized that she's at home today. So far, 2 confirmed dead. Not sure whether it's caused by the bad weather.

I just told a friend this....

The local sports radio station raked him (Lidle) over the coals after the Yankee loss. And they were accusing him of insubordination because he said the team wasn't prepared and all that. He was like "I am trying to have a nice day with my family when my friend calls me to tell me you guys are doggin me." And they went off on him. So, I was listening to the station when the story broke about how it was Lidle on the plane the hosts were hearing it for the first time that ESPNEWS just confirmed the report that Lidle was the one registered on the plane and that he was the one on it. They were speechless and so nervous. They just went to a break. WOW!

They were like the guy called us from the street to defend himself 48hrs ago and now he is gone.

    Crazy day in NYC.

LMFAO! Everyone was joking about it being Arod's fault. That would of been sooooo funny if it really was.

Damn Lidle, you ruined a good joke. :(

    RIP Corey :( :( :( :( :( :(

    NEW YORK (AP)
A small plane carrying New York Yankee Cory Lidle slammed into a 50-story skyscraper Wednesday, apparently killing the pitcher and a second person in a crash that rained flaming debris onto the sidewalks and briefly raised fears of another terrorist attack. A law enforcement official in Washington, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Lidle an avid pilot who got his flying license during last year's offseason was aboard the single-engine aircraft when it slammed into the 20th floor of the high-rise on Manhattan's Upper East Side. And Mayor Michael Bloomberg said both people aboard were killed.

Yankee Cory Lidle Presumed 1 of 2 Killed
