red alert games. advance notice. maybe... maybe no?

    clutch, since you talk to some of the folks associated with the rox... is there any way that you can ask the guy (i think brian was his name) to give a couple of weeks notice of when the red alert games are?

    i'm sure some folks on the board have conflicting work scheds like myself and need time to sched in advance.

    also, i need time to get a shirt made that says "battier is not ghey" (lame attempt to start an "anti-gay trade" thread in the feedback forum since there's been one in every other).

    anyway... is this possible? :confused:

    there will be 44 red alert games 3 preseason 41 regular season and then add about 12-14 playoff games

    do you know if there is still going to be red alert games for those that didin't participate in the jvg free ticket giveaway? if so, any info whether it'll be next to the section to those that did get season tix? the more the merrier (the bigger and more concentrated the section... the better).

    I spoke to them about this and they said for sure they would give everyone here a heads up in advance about ticket promotions for ClutchFans for seats in the Rowdies section. They forwarded this thread to some of their ticket people to see what they can come up with this year.

    The Rockets will be giving away 10 tickets before every regular season game to be in the Rowdy section.

    Omega, I can't guarentee anything but as a fellow CF.net brother, we could certainly help you out to get noticed.

    Furthermore, we found out yesterday that the Rockets will actually give away 20 tickets outside BEFORE the pre-season games. I doubt this will be highly advertised so your odds of getting a free ticket would be VERY good even if we didn't help you out. Come wearing a crazy wig and face paint or something and you'll almost certainly get picked. Other people will show up but many will be wearing street clothes with maybe a red shirt. If you can up the ante at all, you'll get a good shot at it. If you send me an email before the game, I'll let you know where you can meet some of us and we can escort you in to get noticed.

    btw, Omega, I remember you in RedRowdies last year so I know you are a real fan. I'd be glad to help you out.

    It should be no concern of ours as 'Basketball Fans' as to the sexual
    orientation of our teams players! Our only interest should be directed
    towards their GAME! :p By making such a shirt you will be drawing attention to a subject that should not even be considered during the Game of Basketball!

    it'd be cool to have the "original" rowdy section next to those that won free season tix. the more concentrated/together the group... the better.

    that'll be cool. i remember y'all too. i've been diehard for a long while now. i'd be honored to stand up with y'all and shout out (with beer breath) at the opposing team again. i lost my voice and was in pain the next day, but it was worth it.

    i'll email you through the board when the folx over the rox camp let us know when the games are gonna be. 'preciate the lookout. :) still have a few pics... including a certain mod (i think) in a wig.

    i AGREE wholeheartedly! however, the t-shirt IDEA was just me being an idiot and making light of the battier/Gay TRADE!! here's to a rockets CHampionSHIP!!!
