Well I will say this...I can take losing a good hard-fought game. But this is some sloppy play tonight; you can't do that if you wanna get to the postseason.

 

Every player on this roster should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. This is one of the most pathetic, gutless displays from a team I've seen in some time. If we miss out on the playoffs by one game, they're going to be thinking about this for a whole long time.

 

i think the astros will come back in the 6th inning.

 

Yeah, just likes the Padres were chokers last night according to you too. Nothing like absurd overreactions in the middle of a game.

Cat, lets not blow this out of proportion. What about those games in June and July that they lost? Those games were just as important.

ok, so we down 6-1...

still got 4 frames to come back...lets start chipping away an inning at a time and make it a nice comeback...i have a feeling its not over!

 

We need a miracle. In this game and the rest of the season.

 

It's one thing to lose because you're struggling. It's another to lose based on a simple lack of fundamentals and making silly mistakes all over the field. The latter is happening tonight, and with all that's at stake, I thought this would be the one time that would never happen.

 

I'm not giving up on them winning *this* game. Screw all of this conceding, whining crap. Go Astros!
