    I didn't live there during the Oilers era . . .

    But they still speak very fondly of the Oilers up in Pittsburgh. Obviously, they'd feel a lot better about it since they were on top of that rivalry, but they have a lot of respect for Bum Phillips and many of the Oilers greats. IIRC, he visited Heinz field last year and got a standing ovation.

    the oilers era was the best era.....its still hard for me to consider the hosuton texans as a real football team....same with the tennesee titans .

    I can remember three differing Oiler helmets that were Columbia Blue or Silver or White during different eras. Miss those days...
