[MCVUK] £149 Wii Set for November with "Plentiful" Supply

    Nothing too unusual. Of course, thanks to the price differences in these countries, there's no telling if the Wii's price in the US will relate that closely to the £149 figure (that's ~$281, but for comparison, the 360 Core is like ~$373 over there). Unless Nintendo just REALLY gives the US a break, I guess the $150-$170 estimates are a little off ($200 seems about right...maybe a little more). Who knows? Guess we'll find out for sure next week, although this might be a good indication of where it might fall. I believe the UK Nintendo boss said that this article was not correct, although MCV was close...but he also said there would be no DS redesign, and a day later, Nintendo announced the DSL. :)

    The part about there being no supply issues sounds great. FWIW, here's some related news regarding the supply issue:

    How hard is it to have supply shortages when their parts are mostly the same from the Gamecube?
