I just got waitlisted at McCombs' exec program. I'm a little taken aback; I thought I was in like Flynn. Better than a rejection I guess. Right? Right?
Hmm, I have a friend applying to the EMBA program as well. He's not too confident since he's only got 4 years work experience, whereas the average is like 7. The only bad news is that since most of the guys in the Executive MBA program are getting their employer to sponsor them. Because cost isn't a factor for them, the yield is pretty high. I recommend waiting until next fall and applying to the Full-Time program. I'll be attending the Full-Time program this fall personally.
Yes sir. Took an official visit earlier this week, and it pretty much sealed the deal. In state tuition at a top-20 school was too good to pass up.
