He's one of my favorite Country singers. He will be missed. Buck Owens, UT's Tourney hopes, and Baggie's career, this has turned into kind of a down Saturday. :(

I am not a fan of country music, but I really liked Buck Owens. He had a guitar player and singer who played with him during much of his "hit years in the late 60's - early 70's. This guy was short- could mesh with Owen's singing perfectly. - Timing and harmony perfect. I do not recall his name - but he really helped Owens achieve a successful sound. He got killed in a auto accident I think-a tragedy.

My`favorites "Tiger by the Tail", and "The Love Bug".

But did you know Kathie Lee Gifford was a Hee Haw Honey? It's true.

Don Rich was his sidekick. He died in a motorcycle accident IIRC. Buck Owens rocked. Not many country stars had the Beatles cover their tunes.

    RIP Buck.

    Thanks Hayes Street

I could not remember Don Rich ' name. He was awesome pairing with Buck Owens. The band was never the same without him....
